about
I am a Netherlands-based architectural designer and spatial artist specializing in narrative spaces and exhibitions. I use 'space' as a medium to express myself.
I have gathered a set of skills throughout the years from various positions in my career. Spanning stage and set design, my early work as an art director and spatial designer in Istanbul laid a strong foundation in visual storytelling and production processes.
I co-founded Studio NokNok, where we produced elements for sets and stages—including props, decors, masks, and puppets—developing a dramaturgical perspective that enriched my creative practice, while also gaining essential know-how in materials and production.
Pursuing a deeper understanding of how spatial practices shape our environments, I completed a Master’s in Interior Architecture: Research + Design at Piet Zwart Institute. My master’s thesis focused on the instrumentalization of certain objects as borders for migrating populations, gaining me a commitment to integrating research into my design practice.
Over the past two years, I have collaborated with several prominent companies in the Netherlands, contributing to narrative-driven spatial design projects.
Currently, I am undertaking independent projects and partnering with diverse designers, artists, and organizations.
